Intake and Initial Assessment
The watch is examined under magnification, its condition noted, and a written record made before disassembly begins. This is shared with the owner.
Scope Agreement
The service to be performed is confirmed in writing before work begins. If additional issues are found during disassembly, the owner is contacted before proceeding.
Service Performed
Work is carried out to the agreed scope. All replacement parts are sourced to specification. No substitutions are made without discussion.
Timing Observation
For mechanical work, the movement is measured across positions and over time on a timing machine. Regulation is adjusted until a consistent rate is achieved.
Case Seal and Final Check
The case is resealed, the water resistance tested where applicable, and the exterior cleaned. A final visual check is completed before notification.
Collection and Documentation
The owner is notified that the watch is ready. Condition report and (for restoration) photographic record are provided at collection.
Battery Replacement & Water-Resistance Check
A careful change of the quartz cell paired with a fresh gasket inspection and a basic resistance check. Suited to everyday quartz pieces whose owners simply want them ticking and tidy again. Includes case-back reseal, a wipe-down of the exterior, and a short note on the condition observed.

Mechanical Movement Full Service
A complete strip-down, cleaning, fresh lubrication, and reassembly of an automatic or hand-wound movement, followed by regulation across positions. For owners of mechanical pieces that have not been opened in several years and have begun to run unevenly. Includes a multi-day timing observation and a written condition report.

Vintage Timepiece Restoration

Shared Across All Three Services
Secure Handling
Pieces are stored in a locked cabinet when not on the bench. High-value items receive additional agreed measures at intake.
Specification-Correct Lubricants
Each application point receives the lubricant specified for that surface and load. No general-purpose substitutes used.
Water-Resistance Testing
Every resealed case is pressure-tested before the watch leaves the workshop.
Timing Machine Sign-Off
No mechanical work is considered complete until timing has been confirmed on the machine across multiple positions.
Pre-work Confirmation
Scope is confirmed before work begins. Any deviation from the agreed scope is discussed with the owner before proceeding.
Professional Liability Cover
The workshop holds professional liability insurance. Concerns about a specific piece's value should be raised at intake.
